Fortnite: Earth Sprite Weapon Quest Guide
Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 1 introduces Sprites, helpful apparitions offering players valuable items and abilities. The Earth Sprite, the most beneficial but elusive of these, requires a bit of searching. This guide explains how to locate and interact with the Earth Sprite to gain rewards.
Fortnite Earth Sprite Locations Explained
While the Earth Sprite can only be found in the main Battle Royale mode (including Zero Build and Ranked) on the new Chapter 6 map, pinpointing its location is challenging. Across the map, nearly two dozen potential spawn points exist, marked by distinctive lanterns (similar to the one pictured above, north of Burd). However, only two Earth Sprites spawn per match, meaning you might need to explore several locations to find one.

Giving Weapons to the Earth Sprite in Fortnite
Finding the Sprite is the hard part. Once located, simply hold the interact button while facing it. This will give the Sprite your currently equipped weapon, completing the Week 1 Quest and awarding you 25,000 XP. Note that you'll lose the weapon you give, but you'll receive a random Legendary rarity weapon in return—a worthwhile trade-off for the XP boost and powerful new weapon.
Fortnite is available on various platforms, including Meta Quest 2 and 3.
