Charlie Cox's successful transition from Netflix to the MCU as Daredevil has sparked speculation about potential comebacks for other members of The Defenders. Finn Jones, who portrayed Iron Fist, recently expressed his eagerness to return to the role, stating, "I’m here and I’m ready." Jones last appeared as Danny Rand in Season 2 of the Netflix series Iron Fist and in The Defenders, where he teamed up with Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Luke Cage (Mike Colter), and Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter).

Despite mixed reactions to Jones' portrayal of Iron Fist, the character's inclusion in future MCU projects remains uncertain. However, the integration of Daredevil into the MCU has renewed hopes for a revival of The Defenders, with reports suggesting Marvel is "exploring" this possibility.

During an appearance at the LaConve anime convention in Monterrey, NL, Mexico, Jones addressed the criticism he received and appealed to both fans and Marvel for another chance. He acknowledged the fans' mixed feelings, saying, "There is a willingness for the fans to see that happen. There’s a lot of willingness for the fans to see that not happen as well. I’m very aware of the critiques of the character and my role in it. My response to that is like, give me a f\*\*\*ing chance, man. I’m here and I’m ready. I want to prove people wrong. So I would love to see that happen."

Daredevil: Born Again continues the storyline from the Netflix series, now officially part of the MCU canon alongside other shows and films on Disney+. The inclusion of Jon Bernthal's Punisher in Daredevil: Born Again further bridges the gap between the Netflix universe and the broader MCU.
