FFVII Remake and Rebirth: Controller Issues Resolved
Patches for Final Fantasy VII Remake are now available on Steam, the Epic Games Store, and PlayStation 5. This update resolves controller vibration issues stemming from motor malfunctions. The game follows Cloud Strife, a former SOLDIER, as he joins Avalanche to thwart Shinra Electric Power Company's planet-destroying plans.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, the sequel continuing the story beyond Midgar, receives update 1.080. This update refines the game's atmosphere for a more immersive and realistic experience with improved haptic feedback. The PC version launches January 23, 2025. This second installment of the trilogy expands the narrative and emphasizes exploration.
While Final Fantasy XVI's initial May 2024 sales were disappointing, subsequent sales slowed, ultimately falling short of projected fiscal year targets. Precise sales figures remain undisclosed. Similarly, Square Enix has not released sales data for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, which also underperformed expectations.
However, the company clarified that it doesn't consider Final Fantasy VII Rebirth a complete sales failure. Furthermore, it maintains confidence that Final Fantasy XVI can still achieve its goals within the planned 18-month timeframe.
