- A student lies injured after being pushed from a window - and all fingers point to you

- Every decision you make shapes the story and characters' reactions

- Experience unique narrative branching with endless possibilities

Miss Mulligatawney's prestigious boarding school is in turmoil. When a star pupil suffers a suspicious fall from a window, you become the prime suspect. In Expelled!, the newest narrative adventure from inkle (creators of Overboard!), you have just one school day to either prove your innocence or cleverly redirect the blame.

The year is 1922, and you play as Verity Amersham, a scholarship student voiced by acclaimed actress Amelia Tyler (Baldur's Gate 3). Verity has always kept her head down - until now. Faced with expulsion and criminal charges, she must navigate the school's social minefield to save her future.

This isn't a typical visual novel. The game features a dynamic world where:
- Characters follow their own schedules and react to your actions in real-time
- Your reputation and relationships shift with every conversation
- Multiple solutions exist for each challenge

The game encourages creative problem-solving. Need evidence planted? Convince an ally to help. Feeling cornered? Frame a rival student. The deeper you descend into deception, the more branching narrative paths become available.

While complete playthroughs take approximately 30-45 minutes, the game's organic narrative system ensures no two sessions feel identical. Each attempt reveals new:
- Hidden locations to explore
- Secret relationships between characters - Unexpected methods to clear your name

Successfully winning the faculty's favor could even position you for the ultimate prize: becoming Head Girl. But be warned - every character remembers your actions.

Immerse yourself in the roaring twenties with an authentic jazz soundtrack featuring:
- George Gershwin's iconic compositions
- Louis Armstrong's pioneering trumpet work
- Bessie Smith's legendary blues vocals

Expelled! launches March 12th across Steam, Nintendo Switch, and iOS platforms. For similar narrative experiences, explore our guide to the best story-driven mobile games.
