Squad Busters is ditching Win Streaks! Get ready for some big changes coming soon. The endless climb for extra rewards is ending, but there's more to the story.

Why the Change? When?

Squad Busters is removing Win Streaks because the pressure and frustration they caused outweighed the feeling of accomplishment for many players. The feature will disappear on December 16th. Your highest streak will remain on your profile as a memento.

To make up for the removal, players who reached certain win streak milestones (0-9, 10, 25, 50, and 100) before December 16th will receive exclusive emotes.

Unfortunately, there will be no refunds for coins spent on Win Streaks. The developers cite game balance concerns between free-to-play and paying players as the reason.

Player Reaction

The community is divided on this change. Some welcome the reduced emphasis on "pay-to-win," while others are less enthusiastic about the removal, particularly given the perceived underwhelming compensation.
