How to Beat All Monsters in E.R.P.O.

E.R.P.O. is constantly evolving with new monsters being added, so it's wise to bookmark this page for the latest updates. Below, you'll find detailed guides on how to tackle each specific monster. While there are general strategies, you can also use various weapons to combat them:

  • Melee Combat: From the Machete to the Hammer, these weapons can be purchased in the shop for 10k to 20k cash. They'll appear in your next level, ready to be picked up with M1 and used to swing at monsters. Be cautious with ranged attackers like the Huntsman. A hit-and-run tactic is advisable to minimize damage, and don't forget to bring healing packs for melee engagements.

  • Grenades and Mines: Available in the shop, Grenades can be picked up with M1, uncorked with E, and thrown or left to explode for massive damage. Mines are placed on the ground and detonate when stepped on by monsters, making them effective against both weaker and tougher foes.

  • Monster Brawl: You can manipulate monster interactions to your advantage. For instance, bait a Huntsman to shoot another monster by positioning yourself behind it and making noise. Similarly, you can pull Reapers into each other during their attack animations for mutual damage.

Robe Guide (Ghost)

The Robe, a shadowy ghost, is best avoided due to its high damage upon contact. Crouch and hide to evade it, or kite it around. If you choose to fight, two Grenades or Mines can take it down, but melee combat is not recommended due to its damaging capabilities. Be aware that Robe teleports and accelerates towards you if you look at its mask.

Reaper Guide

The Reaper, a doll-like creature with spinning sword arms, is less damaging than the Robe and can be more easily managed with melee weapons. It can be kited or avoided, and a single grenade combined with a few hits can eliminate it. Grenades and mines also stun the Reaper, making it easier to finish off.

Apex Predator Guide (Duck)

These seemingly harmless ducks are non-hostile until provoked. If you grab or damage them, they become aggressive, flying and biting with low damage but relentless pursuit. Outrunning them or using melee weapons is your best strategy. Grenades are overkill given their low health.

Huntsman

The Huntsman, a blind marksman, can one-shot you with his gun. He relies on sound, so avoid speaking near him in Voice chat mode or walking loudly. Crouch and hide under tables to stay safe. Melee combat is risky due to his auto-aim; instead, use mines or throw grenades while crouched. The explosion will temporarily deafen him, allowing you to close in with melee weapons.
