This isn't just a simple reskin; Morgott boasts new voice lines and moves, making for a challenging encounter, especially in co-op.

Beyond surprise invasions, the Fell Omen can also serve as a challenging end-of-night boss, a climactic fight as the sun sets in Nightreign. Early testers, including the renowned "Let Me Solo Her," have already faced this enhanced Morgott, with overwhelmingly positive—though occasionally frustrated—feedback. His unpredictable invasion mechanic, whether ambushing on elevators, in towers, or elsewhere, is a highlight for many.

The success of Morgott's invasion has sparked excitement for the potential inclusion of other iconic bosses. The Pursuer from Dark Souls 2 and even Bloodborne Hunters are among the fan favorites suggested. One particularly intriguing detail observed by GamesRadar is a potential curse mark left on slain players after a Fell Omen invasion, hinting at deeper mechanics yet to be discovered.

Despite server issues during the initial network test, many players experienced Nightreign's unique gameplay.
