Bandai Namco has officially announced that *Elden Ring Nightreign* will launch on May 30, 2025, priced at $40. The game will be available across multiple platforms including PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. This exciting news comes just before the scheduled network test for *Elden Ring Nightreign*, set to begin on February 14 and conclude on February 17, exclusively on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Players should note that the network test will not be available continuously over the four days but will instead be accessible during five specific three-hour windows.

• February 14: 7pm-10pm PT / 10pm-1am ET
• February 15: 11am-2pm PT / 2pm-5pm ET

Bandai Namco describes the network test as a "preliminary verification test" where selected testers will experience a segment of the game before its full release. This large-scale Network Stress Test aims to assess the online system's functionality and performance. The company is eager for participants' cooperation to enhance *Elden Ring Nightreign* further.

*Elden Ring Nightreign* is a standalone co-operative spin-off from FromSoftware, set in a parallel universe to the 2022's *Elden Ring*. The network test will enable three players to join forces, selecting their Nightfarers to combat new threats, explore a dynamic map, and challenge increasingly difficult bosses, culminating in a battle against the Nightlord. The test will feature a three-day-and-night cycle that players must endure.

The all-new adventure in Elden Ring Nightreign starts at the Roundtable Hold, set in a universe parallel to the events of Elden Ring. Players can choose from eight unique characters, each with distinct abilities and powerful Ultimates. Their journey leads them to Limveld, an ever-changing environment, where they must make quick decisions in combat and exploration as the night cycle shrinks the map with the coming Night’s Tide.

At the end of each night, players will confront a formidable boss, and if they triumph, they'll face even greater challenges. The third night of each session will see players battling the chosen Nightlord. While individuals can tackle the night solo, strength lies in numbers. Nightfarers must collaborate, combining their unique abilities for an unparalleled experience. Even in defeat, players earn relics to customize and upgrade their characters according to their preferred play styles.

Elden Ring Nightreign offers a unique experience from FromSoftware, Inc. In this condensed action RPG, no two journeys are the same as enemies, rewards, and Limveld itself evolve with each session. Conquering tougher foes and exploring more perilous areas of the map will reveal more powerful weapons and greater Rune rewards. Discovering Sites of Grace allows heroes to level up and gain essential power. Each session-based adventure is like navigating an open-air dungeon, offering opportunities to earn lasting stat bonuses. Successful runs against the night bring players closer to defeating the Nightlord and uncovering the story behind each Nightfarer in this parallel world.
