Drecom teases new release with Hungry Meem
Drecom, the creators of Wizardry Variants: Daphne, have dropped a cryptic teaser for their upcoming game, Hungry Meem. Details are scarce, but the intrigue is palpable. This unusual level of secrecy is a refreshing change from the usual immediate reveals by larger developers.
While platform and gameplay remain shrouded in mystery, a teaser website featuring peculiar creatures near a tree stump is already online. A full unveiling (and potentially launch) is planned for January 15th.
Drecom's previous successes, including Wizardry Variants: Daphne (a mobile release from late last year) and the enduringly popular One Piece: Treasure Cruise, suggest a promising future for Hungry Meem. The "push a button" promotional strategy on X hints at a mobile release, although this is purely speculation.
Gameplay predictions range from creature collection to an augmented reality "gotta catch 'em all" style game. The lack of concrete information leaves plenty of room for surprises, given Drecom's history of experimentation.
