To mark this significant milestone, RGG Studios has launched a special fan-voting project that allows fans to pick their favorite in-game items to be transformed into real-life merchandise. Fans Can Vote For Like a Dragon 20th Anniversary Merch Until March 21, 2025

The 20th Anniversary of Like A Dragon is set for December 2025, and the excitement is already building. RGG Studios has kicked off the celebrations with a fan-voting project, giving fans the power to choose from a diverse selection of 100 in-game items. These range from quirky items like lingerie and incense to iconic pieces such as mahjong tiles, a karaoke microphone, a luxury lighter, and even 20th-anniversary sake. Not to forget, themed pillows and Kiryu’s dragon mask are also part of the selection, all of which nod to the game's extensive history.

Voting began on February 8, 2025, and will continue until March 21, 2025. Fans are encouraged to vote once per day for their favorite items. Once the voting concludes, RGG will announce a follow-up questionnaire to refine the design of the top-voted item, which they promise will be commercialized within the next two years.

Like A Dragon 20th Anniversary May Possibly See More Yakuza Remakes

RGG Studio hinted at their plans for the 20th Anniversary in a Twitter (X) post on December 8, 2024, during their 19th Anniversary celebration. In the video, RGG Studios Director and Executive Producer Masayoshi Yokoyama expressed his gratitude to the fans and teased upcoming events and announcements leading up to the 20th anniversary.

The first event on the calendar is the release of Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, set for February 20, 2025. Yokoyama also mentioned the ongoing merchandise voting project. While no further announcements have been made since the video, fans are hopeful for more, especially given the precedent set by the 10th anniversary, which saw the release of remakes like Yakuza 0 and Yakuza Kiwami. The anticipation for what RGG has in store for the 20th anniversary is palpable.

Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza In Hawaii PC Requirements

On February 10, 2025, RGG Studio shared the PC requirements for Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii via Twitter (X). The recommended graphics card is an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 or any equivalent or newer, which should be manageable for most gaming setups. Given that the game is also coming to older consoles like PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, the PC specs are expected to be easily met by most gamers. Additionally, RGG Studios confirmed that the game is Steam Deck verified, ensuring a smooth experience on Valve's handheld device.

SEGA recently released a story trailer on YouTube, showcasing Majima's adventure on the High Seas, narrated by the Pirate King Raymond Law, voiced by wrestling superstar Samoa Joe.
