Disney Mirrorverse Announces EOS By The End Of This Year

Feb 27,25

Disney Mirrorverse, the mobile action RPG featuring a unique blend of Disney and Pixar characters, is shutting down. Developer Kabam announced the End of Service (EOS) date as December 16th, 2024.

The game has already been removed from the Google Play Store, and all in-app purchases are disabled. Players have approximately three months remaining to enjoy the game before the servers are permanently closed.

A Look Back at Disney Mirrorverse

Launched in June 2022, Disney Mirrorverse offered a compelling action RPG experience with reimagined Disney and Pixar characters. Despite initial excitement, the game struggled to retain players due to a lengthy beta period and infrequent content updates.

The game's challenging shard collection system, requiring significant time investment or in-app purchases to fully develop characters, also contributed to its decline. However, the game's impressive character designs and high-quality graphics were widely praised.

The Unexpected EOS Announcement

The EOS announcement is particularly surprising, given that Kabam released new story content and added Cinderella as a playable character just a week prior. This abrupt closure follows a pattern for Kabam, who previously shut down Transformers: Forged to Fight and a Marvel Contest of Champions spin-off without much warning.

The sudden end of Disney Mirrorverse leaves many fans disappointed. What are your thoughts on this unexpected closure? Share your comments below. For more gaming news, check out our coverage of Zombies In Conflict Of Nations: World War 3 Season 15!
