The Last of Us Developer Says It Was Hard To Keep Its New Game A Secret

顽皮狗CEO Neil Druckmann坦言，多年来秘密开发新作《星际：异端先知》(Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet) 非常艰难，尤其是在面对粉丝对重制版和翻拍版（特别是《最后生还者》）的抱怨声中。
Druckmann在接受《纽约时报》采访时表示：“秘密地、默默地进行这些年的开发工作非常困难。然后看到我们的粉丝在社交媒体上说：‘重制版和翻拍版已经够多了！你们的全新游戏和全新IP在哪里？’”
尽管最初有所担忧，但《星际：异端先知》的发布确实吸引了公众的注意力，其发布预告片在YouTube上的总观看次数超过200万次。

以《神秘海域》、《杰克与达斯特》、《小龙斯巴达克斯》和《最后生还者》等广受好评的IP而闻名的游戏开发工作室顽皮狗，终于推出了他们的全新系列作品——《星际：异端先知》。早在2022年，这款游戏就被作为公司的新项目进行过预告。两年后的2024年2月，索尼互动娱乐公司注册了该游戏名称的商标，最终在今年的游戏大奖赛上正式公布。
正如标题所示，《星际：异端先知》将带领玩家进入浩瀚的宇宙空间，在一个科技高度发达的平行1986年世界中展开冒险。
玩家将扮演赏金猎人Jordan A. Mun，她发现自己被困在一个名为Sempiria的遥远星球上。这个星球以其神秘的过去而臭名昭著……没有人能够解开它的历史之谜并活着回来。Jordan现在必须运用她所有的技能和智慧来生存，并希望能成为600多年来第一个从这个可怕的星球上活着回来的人。
