May 12,25

The indie sensation, Drug Dealer Simulator Schedule I, continues to ride the wave of its explosive launch on Steam, maintaining its position as one of the platform's most-played games. Developer Tyler, from the Australian indie studio TVGS, has now released the first significant post-launch update, version 0.3.4, which is currently available for testing on the game's beta branch. Tyler shared on the game's Steam page that the beta will be accessible for a day or two before its full release, inviting all players to opt into the testing phase.

"This beta doesn't quite contain 100% of the features coming in the full release," Tyler noted. "I'll be adding a few more decorative objects tomorrow [April 8]. I wanted to get this beta out ASAP so that the new wall-mounted objects and pawn shop interface can be thoroughly trialed."

Schedule I soared to the top of Steam's sales charts upon its debut, outpacing heavyweights like Monster Hunter Wilds, GTA 5, and Marvel Rivals. The game's viral spread across social media, Twitch, and YouTube has fueled its success. In Schedule I, players start as small-time dealers in the gritty city of Hyland Point, with the goal of rising to become drug kingpins, managing production, and distribution, and expanding their empire through properties, businesses, and a network of employees.

Tyler, the game's developer and publisher under the moniker TVGS, described the launch as "amazing but pretty overwhelming." In a post on Reddit, he expressed his astonishment at the game's reception and his commitment to maintaining focus on delivering timely patches and future content updates once major bugs are resolved.
