Fortunately, San Diego Studio's Road to the Show mode offers a way to shake things up, even if it's not a direct "demand a trade" option. Here's how to increase your chances of a trade.

After completing your high school career, you choose between college or going pro. While initially you control your destination, the dynamic nature of professional baseball means a change of team is always possible. Unlike previous versions, you can't directly request a trade. However, there's a clever workaround.

Navigate to the Road to the Show settings and find the "Trade Frequency" slider. Maxing this slider out significantly increases the likelihood of trades happening within the mode, including your own. While this doesn't guarantee immediate offers, it dramatically increases your visibility to other teams.

Once you've generated some buzz around the league, your agent will inform you of potential trade interest. Trade offers will then begin to arrive. Carefully consider each offer; there's no guarantee of further opportunities. Once you accept a trade and settle into your new team, remember to adjust the Trade Frequency slider back down to avoid constant trade requests.
