Deltarune Chapter 4 nears completion, release TBD

第四章接近完成
Fox 在其 2023 年万圣节通讯中确认，Deltarune 的第三章和第四章计划在 PC、Switch 和 PS4 平台同步发布。然而，尽管第四章即将完成，但他透露第三章和第四章的发售日期仍未确定。该游戏的头两章分别于 2018 年和 2021 年免费发布，但即使是这两章也让粉丝们在开发过程中等待了数年。
目前，游戏第四章正在进行润色。所有地图已完成，战斗可玩，但仍需一些调整。Fox提到有两段过场动画“需要一些小的改进”，一场战斗需要平衡和视觉增强，另一场战斗需要更好的背景，“两场战斗的结局序列正在改进”。尽管如此，Fox 认为第四章“基本上可以玩，只是缺少一些润色”，并且他已经收到了三个玩过整个章节的朋友的积极反馈。
跨平台和多语言的挑战
虽然第四章进展顺利，但 Fox 强调了在多个平台和不同语言上发布游戏的挑战。“如果游戏是免费的，这不会是件大事，”Fox 在他的通讯中说道。“但由于这将是我们自 UNDERTALE 以来第一次大型付费发行，我们真的必须花更多时间来确保它完美无缺。”
在第三章和第四章发布之前，他概述了他们的团队必须完成的几个重要“任务”，包括：
