Delta Force Revival: Tactical Shooter Now Available
Garena has officially launched the highly anticipated multiplatform revival of the iconic tactical shooter series, Delta Force, now available on iOS and Android. The game arrives a bit later than expected but delivers on its promise of delivering both intense, tactical extraction shooter gameplay and expansive 24v24 battles. Players can engage in combat across diverse environments, utilizing land, sea, and air vehicles to dominate the battlefield.
Delta Force's mobile launch coincides with the introduction of the new season, Eclipse Vigil, which brings a fresh night and dusk-themed map to the Operations and Warfare modes. This season also introduces night-vision goggles and a new operator named Nox, whose subversive abilities add a strategic layer to gameplay. The anticipation for Delta Force has been palpable, evidenced by over 25 million pre-registrations reported by Garena. This excitement is fueled by the game's commitment to a non-pay-to-win model, an in-game marketplace for trading gear, and features like cross-progression.
The Eclipse Vigil season isn't just about new maps; Garena has also rolled out a suite of other enhancements. The much-requested Kill Cam feature, a staple of first-person shooters, has been added, alongside an overhaul of the sound design to enhance the experience on low-light maps such as Blackout and Trench Lines. Additionally, new weapons, gadgets, and vehicles are being introduced, along with a new event called 'Critical Point' that dynamically alters the Threshold map. These additions offer a taste of the large-scale multiplayer action that fans of similar games will appreciate.
For those eager to dive into the action but concerned about their device's ability to handle the game's rich graphics, don't worry. If Delta Force proves too demanding for your hardware, you can explore a range of other top-notch shooters available on iOS and Android, ensuring you keep your trigger finger busy.
