Dead Cells Mobile's final free content updates delayed, but with a confirmed release date!

The highly anticipated final two free updates for Dead Cells on mobile, "Clean Cut" and "The End is Near," have been pushed back. However, developer Playdigious has announced a firm release date: February 18th, 2025. Both updates, already available on PC and console, will introduce a wealth of new content to the mobile version.

What's in store? Let's take a look:

Clean Cut: This update features two exciting new weapons: the strategically-minded Sewing Scissors and the brutally effective Giant Comb. Players will also meet the Tailor's Daughter, a new NPC who allows for customization of character headgear. Expect additional surprises as well!

The End is Near: Prepare for a challenging encounter with new enemies: the Sore Loser, Curser, and Doom Bringer. This update also boasts new skills and colorless mutations, including the powerful Demonic Strength mutation, which significantly boosts damage based on curse stacks.

A fitting farewell to free updates

Playdigious has consistently delivered substantial free content to Dead Cells. While the end of free updates was initially met with some disappointment (allowing the studio to pursue other projects), the extensive post-launch support is undeniable.

Both "Clean Cut" and "The End is Near" will launch simultaneously on February 18th, 2025, for Android and iOS devices.
