The Currency Exchange feature in Path of Exile 2 is a vital tool for players, enabling the conversion of lower-tier Currencies into higher-tier ones for trading with others or for use in crafting. This system is essential for maintaining a robust collection of Currencies, yet understanding the current exchange rates can be challenging due to their constant fluctuation driven by in-game market dynamics.

How to Check Currency Exchange Rates in PoE 2

To access the Currency Exchange, engage with the gambling vendor available in any Act after reaching Cruel Difficulty. Once there, you'll be presented with a Currency Exchange menu featuring two boxes for selecting Currencies.

Start by clicking the left box to choose the Currency you wish to acquire. For instance, to check the current exchange rate for a Divine Orb, select it from the list in the left item tab.

Next, click the right item tab to view a list of your available Currencies, which includes those in your Inventory and Stashes. Continuing with the example, if you want to know how many Exalted Orbs are needed to obtain a Divine Orb, select Exalted Orb from your available Currencies.

The conversion ratio between the selected Currencies will be displayed between the item selection boxes. To acquire a Divine Orb using Exalted Orbs, you'll need to pay the amount of Exalted Orbs shown on the right-hand side of the ratio.

The process also works in reverse. If you possess a Divine Orb and wish to convert it into Exalted Orbs, simply select Exalted Orb from the "Want" list and choose your Divine Orb from the "Have" list.

Given that Currency Exchange rates are subject to constant updates, the value of one Currency in terms of another can change significantly within a short period. It's advisable to check these rates frequently while playing to seize the opportunity for favorable trades on high-value Currency items.

Be aware that not all Currency combinations are valid for exchange. If a particular conversion, such as trading Divine Orbs for Scrolls of Wisdom, is not possible, no ratio will be displayed, and the exchange cannot be completed.
