Finnish game studio Kuuasema has unveiled Cthulu Keeper, a lighthearted yet eerie strategy title drawing inspiration from the eerie mythos of H.P. Lovecraft and the darkly humorous dungeon management style of Bullfrog’s 1997 classic, Dungeon Keeper. The game is currently in development for PC platforms.

In Cthulu Keeper, players are tasked with constructing and managing their own secretive cult, spreading fear and chaos throughout the world. Set during the mysterious 1920s, the gameplay revolves around building an underground lair, conducting forbidden research, and summoning terrifying creatures rooted in Lovecraftian lore. As your cult grows, you’ll expand your influence by recruiting followers, infiltrating society, and completing story-driven objectives.

However, you won’t be alone in the shadows—rival cults and government forces will seek to dismantle your operations. To protect your growing empire, you'll design devious traps, cast powerful spells, and manage your resources strategically to ensure your survival in a world that fears what it doesn't understand.
