Crunchyroll Adds Sidescroller Platform Puzzle 10 Second Ninja X to Its Android Vault

Aug 09,26

10 Second Ninja X, the ultra-fast puzzle-platformer, is now available on Android via Crunchyroll’s Game Vault. Originally created by Four Circle Interactive and published by Curve Games, this title first launched on PC and consoles in July 2016.

Nearly a decade later, it has arrived on mobile!

In 10 Second Ninja X, you control a ninja with a score to settle against a relentless ten-second timer. The clock begins ticking the instant you take your first step. Armed with a sword and three shuriken, you must face off against waves of robotic foes.

Your goal is simple: infiltrate each stage, eliminate every robot on screen, and do so at breakneck speed. Strategy hinges on finding the optimal path; misjudging an order or wasting a shuriken can be costly.

While the original 10 Second Ninja featured Robot Hitler as its primary antagonist, this sequel replaces him with Captain Greatbeard, a pirate-themed villain.

The story follows your kidnapping by Captain Greatbeard, who has a peculiar habit of trapping innocent forest creatures within his mechanical army—a strange choice for a pirate, making Greatbeard quite the eccentric character.

The game features 100 levels distributed across 11 distinct worlds. For those seeking endurance challenges, Marathon Modes link stages together in an unbroken gauntlet. To assist with difficult sections, ghost hints and player replays are available.

The hub world invites exploration, allowing you to uncover hidden mini-games. You can swap between various costumes and discover additional secrets among eight unlockable outfits.

Visually, 10 Second Ninja X has shifted toward a more cartoonish aesthetic compared to the original, though Robot Hitler remains absent from this installment. However, the core gameplay loop stays true: you have ten seconds with zero room for error.

If you hold an active Crunchyroll subscription, you can download the game directly from the Google Play Store.
