Clair Obscur: Expedition 33's Successful Launch

Sold Over 1 Million Copies in 3 Days

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has taken the gaming world by storm, achieving remarkable success and garnering widespread acclaim within the first week of its release. Sandfall Interactive, the game's developer, proudly announced on X (formerly Twitter) on April 27 that they had sold over 1 million copies just three days after launch.

The game reached its initial milestone even earlier, selling over 500,000 copies within the first 24 hours. It's important to note that these figures exclude players accessing the game through Game Pass, suggesting that the actual number of players could be even higher.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 marks the debut of the French studio Sandfall Interactive. This interactive turn-based RPG draws inspiration from Belle-Epoque aesthetics and is now available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S (including Game Pass), and PC.
