This runtime, revealed by AMC Theatres, places it among the select few MCU entries under two hours, ranking seventh shortest out of 35 films. While most shorter MCU films hail from Phases 1 and 2, several recent exceptions exist. The shortest, The Marvels (2022), runs 1 hour and 45 minutes, followed by The Incredible Hulk, Thor: The Dark World, Thor, Doctor Strange, and Ant-Man.

Despite its imminent February 14th release, Brave New World reportedly underwent extensive rewrites and reshoots, including scenes featuring WWE star Seth Rollins. The impact of these revisions on the final runtime remains unclear.

This film marks the first Captain America adventure following Chris Evans' Steve Rogers' retirement, starring Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson. Mackie promises a continuation of the series' grounded, espionage-driven narrative.
