Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 2 Simplifies Camo Grinding with New Tracking Feature

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 2 launched today, introducing a game-changing feature that streamlines camo progression: Camo Challenge Tracking. This helpful tool significantly eases the grind towards coveted camos like Dark Matter and Nebula.

The new Camo Challenge Tracker lets players manually select up to 10 camo and 10 calling card challenges to monitor simultaneously. Progress is readily accessible in-game, eliminating the need to constantly check the main menu. The system also proactively notifies players of near-completion for any challenge, even those not actively tracked.

Tracking Camo and Calling Card Challenges

To add a challenge to the tracker, navigate to the desired camo or calling card challenge and press Y (Xbox) or Triangle (PlayStation). This allows for real-time progress monitoring during matches, eliminating post-match analysis.

Even without manually tracking a challenge, the game automatically highlights those nearing completion. This information is always visible for convenient access. A comprehensive list of near-complete camos and calling cards is also available in the Daily Challenges section of the Black Ops 6 lobby.

Season 2 also simplifies special camo unlocking. Previously requiring nine preceding military camos, now only five are needed. However, two special camos remain a prerequisite for mastery camos.

This update directly addresses player feedback concerning the sheer number of camos and the difficulty of tracking progress. Treyarch has clearly responded to player concerns, making camo acquisition and utilization more efficient and enjoyable in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.
