We Reviewed Both AMD Graphics Cards

We gave the AMD Radeon RX 9070 a solid 8/10 rating. Priced similarly to the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070, it outperforms it in most of our tested games and comes with a higher VRAM capacity (16GB versus 12GB), making it a more future-proof choice. Our tests showed it consumes roughly the same amount of power as the RTX 5070.

The AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT earned a perfect 10/10 from us. It's $150 cheaper than the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti yet surpasses it in several of our tested games, with some benchmarks showing a significant lead. Like the RX 9070, it also boasts 16GB of VRAM. However, it does consume more power and runs hotter on average compared to the RTX 5070 Ti.
