Atomfall, Rebellion's post-apocalyptic survival game, unveils new gameplay details in a recent trailer. Set in a 1960s alternate England devastated by nuclear war, the game promises a blend of familiar and fresh elements for survival enthusiasts.

The trailer showcases exploration of diverse environments, including quarantine zones, villages, and research bunkers. Players will scavenge resources, battling robots and cultists while navigating hazardous terrain. Combat will incorporate both melee and ranged weaponry, with upgradeable options ranging from a cricket bat to shotguns and rifles. Crafting plays a key role, allowing players to create healing items, Molotov cocktails, sticky bombs, and more. A metal detector aids in locating hidden supplies. Skill progression is categorized into melee, ranged combat, survival, and conditioning, offering strategic character development.

Initially revealed at Xbox's Summer Game Fest, Atomfall attracted attention with its inclusion in the Xbox Game Pass launch lineup. This seven-minute gameplay trailer, released less than three months before the March 27th launch date, provides a more comprehensive look at the game's mechanics and atmosphere. The game will be available on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC platforms. Rebellion plans to release further in-depth videos soon.
