Just one month following its launch, including its accessibility through Game Pass, Obsidian and Xbox Game Studios have released an exciting new trailer for Avowed. This trailer features a compilation of glowing reviews and standout quotes from gaming journalists, underscoring the enthusiastic reception of this action-RPG.

The latest patch introduces support for DLSS 4, enhancing gameplay with Multi Frame Generation, Super Resolution, and DLAA. NVIDIA has reported that these technologies can boost performance by up to three times, achieving frame rates of up to 340 FPS at maximum 4K settings. Additionally, the developers have hinted at forthcoming announcements regarding the game's future updates and roadmap in the coming weeks.

This update isn't solely focused on technical enhancements; it also improves the overall player experience. Players will now gain an additional talent point every five levels, with those who have already advanced receiving their points automatically upon game load. For keyboard and mouse users, a new feature allows toggling between walking and running, and a new accessibility option increases the font size in documents, guides, and other in-game texts.

While Avowed didn't completely silence critics, it has earned robust reviews. Digital Foundry hailed the game as a technical "triumph," cementing its status as a remarkable achievement from Obsidian.
