Embark on a treasure hunt in Avowed! Dawnshore holds many secrets, and one of them is Captain Henqua's Spoils treasure map. This guide shows you exactly how to find it.
Finding Captain Henqua’s Spoils Treasure Map in Avowed
To claim your prize, head to the lighthouse in the western part of Calviger’s Landing in The Living Lands (located in the southern part of the map). Carefully climb the lighthouse using the ledges and scaffolding. At the top awaits Captain Henqua's Spoils treasure map.
Locating Captain Henqua’s Spoils in Avowed
Descend the lighthouse and follow the river northwards until you find a broken bridge (northeast of the Old Pargrun Wall and Western Pargrun Wall Beacon fast travel point). Proceed to the southern end of the bridge and swim westward into the river, entering a cave. Inside, you'll discover a chest containing the Wind and Wave shield.
The Wind and Wave Shield: A Closer Look
This superb quality shield boasts a 10% movement speed boost and 20% Frost Accumulation resistance. It’s significantly more powerful than other early-game shields and can be upgraded to Legendary quality with the right resources (like Glasswood Branches and Adra Ban).
