Does Avowed Have New Game Plus?

For avid gamers who relish the challenge of replaying the main quest on a higher difficulty with accumulated skills and gear, *Avowed* might initially disappoint. At launch, *Avowed* does not feature a New Game Plus mode. However, the community's enthusiasm for this feature has been vocal, and there's a strong possibility that Obsidian might introduce it through future updates or DLCs in response to player feedback.

Even without a New Game Plus mode, replaying *Avowed* remains compelling due to its choice-driven narrative and gameplay. The game's multiple endings and diverse character builds encourage players to start fresh saves to explore different paths and outcomes.

*Avowed* is structured around four main regions, with an additional secret area and a revisit to a major city that we won't spoil. However, these challenges are confined to the endgame areas and do not extend to earlier regions or unlock new ones. Unfortunately, after the credits roll, you won't be able to see how your decisions have shaped the Living Lands, which can be somewhat disappointing.

What You Can Do After You Beat Avowed

With no New Game Plus and limited endgame content, *Avowed's* post-game offerings might feel underwhelming. After defeating the final encounter, you'll be treated to animatic cutscenes that illustrate the consequences of your choices, providing insight into how your decisions have impacted the Living Lands and its inhabitants. Once these scenes conclude, you'll be returned to the Main Menu.

From the Main Menu, you have the option to embark on a new journey with a different Envoy or reload a previous save. Autosaves are available from just before the point of no return and before the final encounter, allowing you to replay these sections and make different choices to experience varied story outcomes and endings.

Reloading to a save before the point of no return also grants access to all previous regions. This is your chance to clean up the map, complete any missed side quests, and collect achievements or items. Returning to earlier regions like Dawnshore with your upgraded Legendary Quality weapons and gear can make for an enjoyable and less challenging experience.
