Arknights: Endfield January Beta Test: Expanded Gameplay and New Features

Get ready for the next Arknights: Endfield beta test, launching mid-January 2025! This new phase builds upon previous iterations, incorporating significant player feedback and introducing exciting new features.

Expanded Roster and Gameplay Enhancements

This beta expands the playable character roster to 15, including two Endministrators, all boasting updated models, animations, and special effects. As reported by Niche Gamer on December 25, 2024, players will also enjoy a choice of Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and English voiceovers and text.

Combat has been refined based on player feedback, introducing new combo skills and a dodge mechanic. Item usage and character progression systems have also been adjusted for a more rewarding and strategic gameplay experience.

Base Building and Storyline Updates

The base building system receives a significant overhaul, including new defensive structures, expanded factory construction via outposts, and enhanced tutorial levels. Expect a reworked storyline, fresh maps, and engaging new puzzles to explore.

Beta Test Sign-Up and Content Creator Program

Registration for the beta test opened on December 14, 2024, with the closing date yet to be announced. Selected participants will receive an email notification containing installation instructions.

Simultaneously, Arknights: Endfield launched its Content Creator Program Vol. 1. This program offers selected creators access to the official community, exclusive perks, and special events. Applicants can apply under two categories: gameplay insights (reviews, lore discussions, streams, etc.) and fan creations (memes, fanart, cosplays, etc.). The application period ran from December 15th to December 29th, 2024.
