Announcing the Arrival of Lost Records: Bloom and Rage

Feb 22,25

Don't Nod, the French studio behind Life is Strange, has launched the initial chapter of their new narrative adventure. Players can currently experience "Tape 1," with "Tape 2" set for free release to all purchasers on April 15th.

Initially unveiled in 2023, the game centers on a close group of friends shattered during the summer of 1995. Twenty-seven years later, the specters of that summer resurface, unleashing unforeseen and terrifying repercussions.

Inspired by It, Yellowjackets, and I Know What You Did Last Summer, the game expertly interweaves nostalgic elements with a chilling psychological thriller narrative. The developers have structured the game into two parts: "Bloom" and "Rage." As of February 18th, only "Bloom," the first half of this gripping story, is accessible.

The second part, "The Tape," will debut on April 15th. Initially planned for a March release, the launch was delayed to refine the overall experience.

The review embargo has been lifted, with OpenCritic reporting an average critical score of 74/100—a promising start for this suspenseful mystery.
