Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete Snack Guide: Maximize Friendship Levels

This guide details how to acquire and utilize snacks in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete to efficiently boost friendship levels and advance your Camp Manager Level. Snacks are crucial for faster leveling, especially early in the game, but are scarce. This guide covers acquisition methods and optimal snack choices.

Obtaining Snacks in Pocket Camp Complete

The most reliable method for acquiring snacks is through Gulliver's Ship.

Gulliver's Ship Guide

Sending Gulliver to special "gold islands" (identified by Villager Maps) yields significant snack rewards. Collecting all souvenirs from a special island grants a bonus of 20 Gold Treats. If you've already collected all Villager Maps, sending Gulliver to any island offers varying snack types. Isle of Style islands consistently provide 3 Gold Treats as a souvenir and another 3 as a completion bonus.

You can view three islands at a time, with one free daily refresh available. Gulliver's voyages require cargo, craftable in your furniture catalog. Some islands require specific furniture types; for example, Exotic Island (for modern-themed snacks) benefits from exotic-themed furniture like Exotic Rugs, though Plain Packages or Crates also suffice.

Island snack types are previewable via a magnifying glass icon. Longer voyages (6 hours) generally yield more treats than shorter ones (4 hours or less). For instance, Piano Island offers all three Tart Snack varieties (Plain, Tasty, Gourmet).

Alternative Snack Sources

  • Requests and Visitor Gifts: Bronze, Silver, or Gold Treats can be obtained by fulfilling rare item requests or receiving gifts from campsite/cabin visitors.
  • Daily Goals: Silver and Gold Treats are sometimes awarded as Daily Goals.
  • Blathers's Treasure Trek: Using Villager Maps with Blathers's Auto-Trek (costing 5 Leaf Tokens) provides Bronze, Silver, and Gold Treats.

Understanding Snack Types and Values

Snacks are categorized as regular (Bronze, Silver, Gold Treats) or themed. Regular snacks are universally liked. Themed snacks are further divided into Plain, Tasty, and Gourmet tiers, with Gourmet offering the highest friendship points.

Giving Snacks Effectively

Always check an animal's theme before gifting a snack. Matching themes maximize friendship points. Gold Treats, being generic, provide the highest friendship point gain (25 points) regardless of theme. Ten Gold Treats can boost a level 1 animal to level 15. Check animal themes via their icons at your campsite/cabin or through your Contacts or Pete's Parcel Service. To give a snack, tap the animal and select "Have a snack!" (highlighted in red).
