Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Leveling Guide
Quick Links
To unlock more animals in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete, you need to increase your Camp Manager Level. By the time you reach level 76, you should have access to all animals except those tied to Villager Maps. Leveling up becomes steadily more challenging, so maintaining a consistent routine of fulfilling requests and chatting with visitors at your campsite or cabin is a great way to accumulate friendship points. Leveling also brings attractive perks, including guaranteed Leaf Tokens and expanded inventory space.
How to Farm Experience
Tips for Leveling Up Fast

Speaking to an animal you find on the map grants you +2 friendship points. Animals on the map will always have requests for you. Completing these tasks, chatting with them, giving gifts, or changing their outfits all contribute to that animal's friendship level. Whenever an animal's friendship level increases, you earn experience toward your overall Camp Manager level.
Animals don't remain on the map indefinitely. Every three hours, they rotate out and are replaced by others. This rotation also brings a fresh set of requests. Make sure to talk to every available animal before the next three-hour cycle begins.
Animals you've invited to your campsite or cabin will stay there until you ask them to leave. If you visit your campsite or cabin during a three-hour cycle, you'll see a list of visiting animals who want to chat. This is another chance to earn extra friendship points. Selecting "Tell me a story!" may sometimes lead to a request where you choose furniture or clothing as a gift for another animal. While each animal has personal tastes, you'll still receive +6 friendship points even if they aren't thrilled with your selection.
Remember, friendship points are only awarded when you select dialogue options highlighted in red. For instance, choosing "Change outfit!" when it's red will give you +2 points. If you speak to the same animal again, "Change outfit!" will appear in normal text, indicating you cannot earn points by picking the same option twice in a row.
Amenities
Building amenities allows you to earn friendship points from multiple animals simultaneously. Each amenity has a specific theme, and animals whose theme matches will receive a larger experience boost compared to those who don't. The animals that benefit are chosen at random, so if you're focusing on leveling a particular friend, ensure they are at your campsite before the amenity construction finishes.
Constructing amenities can take several days. However, once an amenity is placed at your campsite, you can level it up using Bells and crafting materials to continue gaining friendship points. When an amenity reaches level 4, you can upgrade it to its maximum level 5. This final upgrade requires 3-4 days of construction time, so plan accordingly.
Giving Snacks
Snacks are collectible items you can give to animals using the "Have a snack!" option. Each snack has its own theme, so to maximize your points, match the snack's theme to the animal's theme. For example, a Plain Waffle is a natural-themed snack, so giving it to a natural-themed animal like Goldie yields more points than giving it to a non-natural animal like Agnes.
Sending out Gulliver's Ship can help you obtain Villager Maps from golden islands. You can then use these maps with Blathers's Treasure Trek to collect Bronze, Silver, and Gold Treats. Fully clearing a golden or villager island rewards you with x20 Gold Treats. If you already have all Villager Maps, you can earn Bronze, Silver, or Gold Treats by fulfilling animal Requests or completing Isles of Style challenges. Unlike regular snacks, these special treats are universally liked and are considered "generic." They consistently provide +3, +10, and +25 friendship points, respectively.
Animal Requests Tips
What Should You Give?

You can efficiently complete multiple requests at once using Pete's Parcel Service. As long as you have the required items in your inventory, you can send them off and earn friendship points without needing to visit each animal personally. Most requests involve delivering gathered items like fruit, bugs, or fish.
Some requests will ask for just one specific type of fruit, bug, or fish. For these, you can choose which item to give. While it's easy to hand over a common item, consider offering something of higher value. Higher-quality gifts can sometimes yield bonus rewards and extra experience. You'll also receive 1500 Bells for giving rarer items. Here are some recommended items to give:
- Perfect Fruit (excluding non-native varieties)
- Snow crab
- Splendid alfonsino
- Amberjack
- R. Brooke's birdwing
- Luna moth
- White scarab beetle
Once an animal reaches level 10 (or level 15 for some), you can accept their Special Request. This unlocks a unique piece of furniture you must craft to complete the request. Special Request furniture typically costs over 9,000 Bells plus specific materials and takes more than 10 hours to craft. While completing Special Requests takes more time, it's an excellent way to earn a substantial amount of friendship points.
