AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D: Top Gaming CPU Restocked at Amazon, Best Buy
Building a new gaming PC and need a top-tier processor? Look no further. The newly launched AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D AM5 desktop processor is now available at Amazon for its standard price of $479 with free shipping. This is the official launch price with no markup, sold standalone without unwanted extras. The AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D stands as the leading gaming processor on the market, surpassing both AMD and Intel competitors, and it’s a smarter pick for gamers than the pricier Intel Core Ultra 9 285K.
Update: Also in stock at Best Buy, though you may encounter a queue.
Spotlight: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D Desktop Processor
AMD’s X3D processors are engineered for gaming excellence. Thanks to AMD’s 3D V-Cache technology, they outperform even the priciest standard AMD CPUs in gaming benchmarks. While capable of multitasking, rendering, and creative workloads, their core count makes them less ideal for those tasks. Priced at $479, the 9800X3D is $110 less than the Intel Core Ultra 9 285K ($589) and $170 below the AMD Ryzen 9 9950X, yet it delivers superior gaming performance. Unless you’re loyal to Intel or sticking with an AM4 setup, the 9800X3D is the clear choice for your next gaming build.

"The AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D delivers exceptional gaming performance, making it a stronger recommendation than recent processors like the Intel Core Ultra 9 285K or Ryzen 9 9900X. If you’re pairing it with a high-end graphics card, this CPU ensures you get the maximum performance from your GPU."
