Adding Friends in Marvel Rivals
It's important to note that *Marvel Rivals* currently does not support cross-progression or cross-play. This means you can't add friends from different platforms at the moment. However, the developers have announced that these features will be added in future updates, so keep an eye out for that.
To add friends, start by launching the game. You'll find the add friends icon located in the top corner next to your player profile. Click on it to access a list of players you've recently played with. From here, you can easily add them to your friends list by clicking on their names.
If you want to add someone specific, use the search bar to enter their username. After hitting the Enter key, you can send them a friend request. Once they accept, they'll appear in your friends list, ready to join you in battle.
How to Play With Friends
With your friends list in *Marvel Rivals* now filled, you're ready to team up and play together. To do this, click on the friends list icon in the top right corner of the screen. Find the friend you wish to play with, select their username, and send them an invite to join your game. From there, you can queue up for quick play or competitive matches and enjoy the game together.
For console players, adding friends is even simpler. If you've already added someone to your friends list at the system level, they will automatically appear in your *Marvel Rivals* friends list, making it easy to invite and play with them.
That's all you need to know about adding friends and playing together in *Marvel Rivals*. For more tips and information on the game, be sure to check out The Escapist.
