Microsoft has revealed which games will be departing from its Xbox Game Pass subscription service on May 15, 2025. A total of eight games are set to leave, including Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, Jurassic World Evolution 2, and Little Kitty, Big City.

Xbox Game Pass is a dynamic online gaming service available for Xbox and PC platforms, offering subscribers the ability to stream games directly on smart devices and consoles, access new titles on day one based on their subscription tier, and enjoy a vast catalog of high-quality games with friends on console, PC, or through the cloud. The following eight games are scheduled to be removed from this catalog.

• Dune: Spice Wars
• Hauntii

• Planet of Lana
• The Big Con

Microsoft is poised to unveil Wave 2 of the May 2025 Game Pass lineup following the departure of these titles from the subscription service.

Earlier this month, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members received an exciting new perk: the ability to stream select games directly to their consoles without needing to download them. This feature was introduced via an Xbox Wire post, announcing that Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members can now stream games from the Game Pass catalog, as well as "select games they own" on their Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and Xbox One consoles through cloud streaming. Previously, this functionality was available on smart TVs, PCs, smartphones, and Meta Quest headsets, marking the first time it's been extended to consoles.
