In 2022, Innersloth surprised and delighted fans with a critically acclaimed virtual reality version of Among Us. Now, they're pushing the boundaries again with Among Us 3D, a fully immersive, first-person experience playable without a VR headset.
Get ready for the same core gameplay you know and love, but reimagined for traditional gaming setups. A sneak peek in the teaser trailer shows how tasks, emergency meetings, and sabotage will feel from your character's perspective. You can even jump in early! A free demo will be available during Steam's upcoming "Game On" festival.
While a release date is still under wraps, Among Us 3D will launch on PC first. Expect optimized keyboard and mouse controls and a revamped interface for improved accessibility. And here's some exciting news for cross-platform fans: Among Us 3D will feature cross-play with Among Us VR. The original Among Us will remain a separate experience.
To add even more depth to the game, Innersloth plans to introduce a new in-game currency called Stardust in the coming months. This will open up a world of customization options, letting you personalize your avatar and contribute to the game's ongoing development.
