Sybo Games quietly released a new Subway Surfers game for iOS and Android! Subway Surfers City boasts improved graphics and many features added to the original over the years. It's currently in soft launch, available in select regions.

It's Friday, and Sybo has a surprise: a new mobile game! This stealth-launched title, Subway Surfers City, appears to be a direct sequel to the wildly popular original. While the original Subway Surfers (released in 2012) has seen numerous updates, its age is showing. Subway Surfers City offers updated graphics, familiar characters, and features like hoverboards.

Currently, the iOS soft launch includes the UK, Canada, Denmark, Indonesia, Netherlands, and the Philippines. Android users in Denmark and the Philippines can also access the game.

A Bold Move?

Creating a sequel to their flagship title is a gamble for Sybo. The original game's Unity engine is showing its limitations, making a sequel a logical, albeit risky, move. The stealth launch is an intriguing strategy for a globally recognized franchise.
