Shadow Ninja is a side-scrolling action/dark art style game where you take on the role of a samurai named Shimazu. Ten years ago, Shimazu’s son was kidnapped, and his wife was killed by an evil demon named Takeda, with assistance from another demon called Fudo. Over the past decade, Takeda has been sealed away by Shimazu. Now, Shimazu’s duty is to seek revenge and rescue his son. The game requires strategic thinking, memory retention, and a keen focus on avoiding traps.

To enhance your skills, you can upgrade the samurai with upgrades that can be purchased using coins and diamonds collected during gameplay:

• Dash: Useful in close combat and can eliminate targets in one attempt but cannot be used for long-range attacks.
• Disappearing: Allows you to remain unseen by enemies, enabling surprise attacks from unknown locations.
• Throw Shuriken: Requires multiple attempts to eliminate enemies from a distance but is effective when used correctly.
• Checkpoints: Fixed checkpoints cannot move, but you can set a new checkpoint at your current position. These become available after progressing through levels.
