As a passionate billiards fan, I spent a long time searching for a lifelike 2D pool game before deciding to create my own—and I couldn't find one.

While there are excellent 3D pool games available, I've always preferred 2D. In 3D games, it can be difficult to judge distances between balls and control the cue's power accurately. The 3D perspective can also feel disorienting.

Unable to find a satisfying 2D billiards experience, I teamed up with other pool-loving developers to build one ourselves. The result is Pool Empire.
