The game unfolds within the abandoned city of Shadov and its surrounding areas, where several warring factions are locked in fierce battles to claim as much land as possible, thereby increasing their power and influence in the region. The chaos and anarchy have drawn in looters, bandits, and thrill-seekers, and the conflict has also attracted mercenaries who, despite the dangerous status of the territory, delve into Shadov for their own gain. As a player, you step into the shoes of a mercenary, challenging yourself to get rich while striving to survive. You'll also face the crucial decision of either joining one of the territorial factions or going it alone.
