Gameplay:

Using a standard deck (no jokers), the game unfolds with players vying to empty their hands. The last player holding cards is declared the "Donkey"—the loser. The game begins with the player holding the Ace of Spades. Play proceeds clockwise, following suit if possible. Players must play a card of the lead suit if they have one, but can play any value within that suit.

When all players have played a card of the same suit, the round ends. The player with the highest card of that suit leads the next round.

If a player can't follow suit, they play any other card. Play immediately stops, and the player who played the highest card of the lead suit collects all played cards and adds them to their hand. They then lead the next round.

The game continues until a single player remains with cards—the Donkey. All other players are victorious!
