Artist's Eye is a utility that helps you draw or paint with real pens or pencils on paper or canvas.

Select a model picture (like a photo) and, as you draw, observe your work through your phone or tablet's camera.

The model appears semi-transparent over your drawing, helping you trace contours—similar to the camera lucida technique used for centuries (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Camera_lucida).

For best results, mount your phone on a stable stand so it remains steady and your hands are free.

This isn't cheating; it's a modern approach to learning and creating art.
